The proof
This isn’t theoretical.
Syndeo began as a spreadsheet built by Ar. Jaffar Kutty to manage a residential renovation in a gated village in Muntinlupa. It ran for 733 days.
The project grew to three and a half times its declared budget — through scope, not leakage. Eleven variation orders. Two and a half million pesos of owner-supplied materials.
And the contractor was never paid for work they hadn’t finished. Not once, across ₱12,800,174.18 of contracts.

“I built this because nothing existed.”
I was managing a renovation that grew from ₱7 million to ₱25 million. Two contracts, eleven variation orders, more than thirty suppliers, and a client who deserved to know exactly where her money was going.
I built a spreadsheet. Then I kept building it — seventeen sheets, two years. It worked. Across ₱12.8 million of contracts, we never paid for work that wasn’t finished.
But it was a spreadsheet. Only I could maintain it. It couldn’t warn me about anything. So we turned it into software — for every architect in this country managing someone else’s money on a file they’re afraid to break.

Do I have to stop using Excel?

Will my contractor need to use it?
No. Your team updates accomplishment. The contractor gets a free seat only if you want them to — and most start using it once they see billings get approved faster.
Can my client see everything?
No — you control exactly what the owner portal shows. No unit rates, no supplier bank details, no internal notes.
Does it work on site without signal?
Yes. Progress updates, photos and receipts work offline and sync automatically when you're back on data.
How is my data protected?
Encrypted, with role-based access. Directory bank details are field-level restricted and access-logged. We have a designated Data Protection Officer and a published DPA — RA 10173 compliant.
